- 5 halves of sun-dried tomatoes
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 100gr butter
- a pinch of dry oregano
- ciabatta bread
- 3-4 fresh tomatoes

I'll be honest i ended up not using this recipe and just winging it because i didnt have garlic however the paprika shout is amazing and i will probably use in most sauces i make

@@XSD.1. I totally understand you, that's why the best way to know when the steak is cooked medium rare is to check it with a probe thermometer in the center and if you don't have one there is an Amazon link in description to get one 🙂 This is the temperature you are looking for 52ºC / 125ºF

I made it but it taste more like a salsa dip I think I'll use for salsa instead it was still yummy in spagetti maybe it tasted like salsa because I didn't have onion

Do you start off high heat for a minute on each side and then do you turn the heat down for the rest of the cooking and what do you turn it down to?
Hi Kevin, Yes, to begin with you want high heath to seal your steak and give it colour on both sides. Once you've done that you can reduce the heath to half and continue with the butter. I hope this helps, but happy to respond to any other questions if you have.

I would NOT recommend this product. Mine stopped working the first time I tried to make a smoothie with ice (less than 2 years of purchase and minimal use). Ninja said “we’re sorry but it’s out of warranty” (1year). When it was working, it didn’t blend oats smooth and the engine took a while to recover after each cycle of blending so I sometimes had to walk away then come back to it. Interestingly the 13 year old Kenwood I bought this to replace still works great ( although the blender bit is broken). Oh well….
I believe you, it's not a professional product and obviously the price reinforces this, but going bad just over a year of use it is poor, I give you this. My experience was more positive, but I really looked after it.

@@KitchenDraft It was good! I usually use vegetable oil (aka rapeseed) but the butter gave a nice flavour. Plus garlic is always nice!

I just discovered your channel and have been watching all of your videos! You make some fantastic food content! I've done this before but I put finely diced onions and a little bit of garlic in the spinach mix, and that also turned out great. Putting basil in these for flavor sounds like such a great idea, though, so I'll have to try this way instead sometime!

Hello @Kitchen Draft! Can you tell me what the difference is between parmigiano reggiano and just plain parmesan cheese from a triangle (not store boughten pre-shredded cheese)? Can you make cacio e pepe with basic parmesan cheese?
Hi, sure! So I am not an expert in cheese, but it's almost like comparing original with counterfeit. Are there good counterfeit cheeses that look and taste like Parmigiano Reggiano? Probably there are. Parmigiano Reggiano is a high-quality, PDO (Protected Designation of Origin)-protected cheese with a rich heritage and strict production standards that result in a complex, flavourful product. Other Parmesan-like cheeses can vary greatly in quality and flavor, often produced with fewer regulations and more industrial methods. When looking for authentic and superior Parmesan cheese, Parmigiano Reggiano is the gold standard. Now the question is, could you make Cacio e Pepe with other cheeses? I guess you could, but bare in mind that most of the simple recipe like this one, rely a lot on good quality ingredients in order to get a proper taste. What I mean by this is that it will taste good or not based on the quality of those ingredients, in this case is the cheese. There is another story about how maturated your Parmigiano Reggiano is, just FYI: The differences between various maturations of Parmigiano Reggiano primarily lie in the intensity and complexity of flavour, as well as the texture. Younger cheeses are milder and softer, suitable for versatile culinary uses, while older cheeses develop more complex, intense flavours and a harder, crumbly texture, ideal for pairing and grating. looks good boss! I saw a video the other day how to make "fake" steak. Don't know if it really works, but the guy said you can take ground meat and stick it together and the fibers will bind together when cooked to make it look like 1 whole piece of meat. I'm sure yours is real though
There are all sorts of scammers and because of the high prices of quality meat, this is more and more tempting for them. This is a real meat I used, not the best quality but if you use a reputable supplier you won't have any problems with this. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻
